Sculpture Unveiling at the Tri-State 911 Memorial

Join us on Thursday, September 7th, at 6:00 pm, as the Tri-State 9/11 Tribute Foundation proudly presents Lamar’s inaugural 9/11 sculpture. This life-sized bronze firefighter sculpture, titled “Running Towards Danger,” will be unveiled at the Tri-State 9/11 Memorial Site, situated half a mile north of Lamar, Colorado. The sculpture captures the firefighter’s awe and determination amidst the chaos of 9/11, and the event takes place in front of the Big Timbers Museum.

Renowned artist Scott Stearman, known for his exceptional military and religious artworks, has created this piece, imbuing it with deep meaning.
