Frontier History Encampment

Come join us for a living history experience as we bring expert historic interpreters to Campus.
Walkthrough and immerse yourself into the 19th century. The event illustrates what life was like on the Great Plains from 1800 to 1890. You’ll be able able to interact with Early fur trappers, Santa Fe Trail traders, Pioneer women, Blacksmiths, Soldiers, Mexican adobe demonstrations as well as wagon rides, and much much more!
Unlike static museums displays, you will be able to interact with living historians.
Beginning on Friday from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm, ending with a Chuckwagon dinner. On Saturday join us 9:00 am-4:00 pm, kicking the day off with a Chuckwagon breakfast. Admission is free and All Ages are Welcome!
