The Tri-State 9/11 Tribute was founded to honor 1st Responders and Military and promote a sense of patriotism in youth.
The 9/11 Tri-State Tribute Foundation holds a Day of Tribute and has created a 9/11 Memorial in Lamar, CO.
Parade – 10:00 a.m.
- Begins on Beech Street (proceeds south on 6th St to Cedar, west 9th St, ending at fairgrounds)
Formal 9-11 Remembrance – 1:00 p.m.
- Special Flag Honoring Sheriff George Martin / Guest Speaker – Alison Perry Sower, MS, LPC; Prowers County Sand & Sage Fairgrounds;
- Mobile Military Museum Display / BSA Flag Retirement at 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Hall of Honor
- Quilts of Valor Presentation
- BBQ at 12:00 NOON (First Responders & Vets Past & Present FREE! $5.00 for all others)
